Details
I bought the car in May 2006 from a fellow Ferrari Chat member in Knoxville, TN. I believe the car has spent its entire life garaged and living in the southern United States since it was sold new by Ferrari of Atlanta.
This is not a show car, but an excellent driver's car with patina. Well sorted. Very original, down to the stereo.
The only issues: A/C doesn't work and I have never tried to fix it, though all the original parts are included. Wiper washer inoperable. Clock has stopped working. Passenger window is intermittent with driver's side switch; works fine with passenger switch. Small dent on front passenger-side fender from previous ownership, right up near the bumper; it's about the size of 2 quarters and barely noticeable. The paint is not perfect but looks good. There is a small spot of rust on the lower-front part of the passenger door, which has not changed in size in years. Also some crazing and paint chipping on the hood.
The seats are worn and have been cleaned and treated many times with Leatherique. One switch button is missing (choke) along with the choke sticker. I never use the choke anyway as I have always been able to start the car without it.
Car is in wonderful every day driving condition but with paint, hides, and a little miscellaneous work it could be a show car... that just wasn't my thing.
I am selling the car because after twenty years of ownership, the time has come for me to move on and let someone else enjoy this Ferrari. Offered for sale in as is condition and located in Raleigh, NC. No trades. Serious inquiries only, please.
Mechanicals
I may not have been into the show car scene, but I am passionate about keeping this car in top mechanical condition. I also drive it very regularly to keep it happy.
